TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, March 9, (Reuters):

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO gained their first win here last night when the final series continued here in the third North, Central American and Caribbean soccer championships (CONCACAF).

Trinidad beat Haiti 3-2, inflicting Haiti's second defeat of the series.

Haiti, who had been expected to win were outplayed, though they did have a goal disallowed.

Corneal (2) and Browne scored for Trinidad and Guy St. Vil netted both the Haiti goals.

St. Vil has now scored three times in the tournament.

In another match, the host country, Honduras, fetched alate equalizer to draw with Nicaragua.

Sobalbarro scored for Nicaragua before Tomas Maximo replied for Honduras.
