CONCACAF Teams Due Today

SOMERSET of Bermuda, Racing of Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago Regiment which will participate in the Caribbean Elimination of the Confederation of North Central America and Caribbean Football Association (CONCACAF) soccer tournament which starts at the National Stadium on Monday night will arrive in the island today.

Sommerset are arriving at 9.30 a.m., Racing at 10.50 a.m. and Trinidad Regiment at noon.

It is not yet known what time Jong Colombia of Netherland Antilles will be arriving.

GG to attend

THE Governor-General, Sir Clifford Campbell, Patron of the Jamaica Football Federation will attend the match between the Trinidad Regiment and Jong Colombia of the Netherland Antilles in the Confederation North Central America and Caribbean Football Association's (CONCACAF) soccer Champion of Champions tournament next week Wednesday night at the National Stadium.

The Governor-General will meet both teams before the start of Wednesday's match.

On Tuesday Mr. Richard Biamby, Consul General to Jamaica for Haiti, will meet Sommerset of Bermuda and Racing of Haiti before the start of their match, and on Saturday 27, Mr. Eric James secretary of the Trinidad Football Association and chairman of the Caribbean Area of the CONCACAF tournament will meet the Netherland Antilles and Bermudan club teams.
