BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, May 25 (Reuters):

Trinidad and Tobago beat Barbados 3-1 in the decisive match of their pre-Olympic qualifying football encounter at Kensington Oval here today.

Striker Sammy Llewellyn scored two goals for Trinidad who also benefited from an own goal. Halftime score was 2-0 in Trinidad's favour.

Barbados' goal came from a penalty by Victor Clarke.

The Trinidadians now go through to the second round against Surinam.

The first two games between Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados were drawn 1-1 and 0-0.

Crowd: about 6,000.
