PORT-OF-SPA1N, August 24, (Reuters):

JAMAICA YOUTH footballers are well poised to take the Benson and Hedges Caribbean Youth Soccer Championship but much depends on the Guyana vs. Trinidad and the Barbados vs. Jamaica matches to be played on Thursday.

After an upset 1-0 win over Trinidad last Saturday, Jamaica with three points are currently leading Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana for the trophy.

Trinidad and Barbados have two points each and should they win their last matches, the winners will be decided on goal average since both will finish with four points. Guyana
has only one point.

Trinidad and Barbados, with four goals each, also have a good chance for the "most goals trophy" provided that Jamaica doesn't increase its goal score in the final match.

Jamaica has defeated Trinidad 1-0 and drawn with Guyana 1-1 while Trinidad beat Barbados 4-1 and Barbados trounced Guyana 3-0.
