PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Feb. 17 (AP):

English First Division club team Chelsea will visit Trinidad for a series of matches. This has been confirmed by Football Association officials here.

Chelsea visited Trinidad six years ago, and controversial manager Tom Dooherty expressed hopes that the team would be invited to return. During the meeting at which the tour was discussed officials dealt with a report from the National squads tour committee on the conduct of trainer Trevor Smith on the North-Central American and Caribbean Soccer Championships in Costa Rica late last year.

The meeting dropped one of the charges and will continue the probe on February 26.

At the moment eleven of the national players are under suspension for alleged misconduct on the Costa Rica series.
