26 entries so far for World Cup

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 2 (Reuters):

Twenty-six countries have so far entered challenges for the World Soccer Cup held by England.

The organizing committee today said entries for the 1970 tournament to be held in Mexico have been received from: East Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Costa Rica, Sudan, Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg, Switzerland, New Zealand, Turkey, Norway, Australia, Uruguay, Wales, Peru, Portugal, Chile, Ireland, Israel, Holland, Poland, Trinidad, Spain and Mexico.
