SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Feb. 19, (Reuter):

COSTA RICA'S World Cup soccer players, dropped after going on strike for higher fees, have resolved their dispute with the National Football Federation and will play their Cup match against Trinidad here on Sunday.

The Costa Rican Football Federation decided to dissolve the team chosen for the match, when the players demanded more pay and insisted on the right to choose their trainer.

But after a day of behind-the-scenes activity it was announced last night that the players had decided to respect all the ruling of the Federation, who agreed to higher fees but refused to give the players the say in the selecting of the trainer.
