PETAL LEE LOY substituting in the men's singles table tennis match between the Trinidad B.W.I.A's sports club and the Jamaican B.W.I.A. sports club last Saturday night, defeated Derrick DaCosta 21-15 and 21-19, helping the visiting team to a 8-3 total points lead over the local club.

Trinidad gained five points in the table tennis and three in the football yesterday when they drew with the Jamaican club 3-3 after trailing 0-2 in the first half. The teams shared the six points for football equally.

In the cricket match against Kingston B.W.I.A. on Sunday, Kingston were all out for only 98 runs which the visitors hit off with five wickets still intact.

Topscorers for Kingston were Derrick DaCosta 30 and Ronald Savarlav 21 not out. Highest scores for Trinidad were made by H. Niamath 27, E. Armstrong 21 retired and L. Traboulay 23 retired.

Most successful bowlers were Michael Charley taking 4 for 21 for the Kingston Club and P. Steele 5 for 13 for Trinidad.
