OTTAWA, Aug. 23 (Reuters):

Mexico and Trinidad-Tobago battled to a scoreless draw in the only game scheduled yesterday in the Confederation of North-Central and Caribbean Soccer Associations Youth Tournament.

Goalies Earl Carter of Trinidad-Tobago and Javier Regalato, playing with a badly sprained wrist for Mexico, were the stars of the match.

The games left Mexico and Costa Rica in a tie for first place in their group. Each has one win and one draw.

Trinidad-Tobago is in third place in the group with two points and Puerto Rico is in last place.

Two other four-team groups are competing in two other Canadian cities.
