TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR INTERCOLONIAL FOOTBALL MATCHES, JAMAICA vs. TRINIDAD, AT SABINA PARK

The following Streets and Roads will be ONE WAY DRIVE between 2 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. on the 8th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th and 26th February, 1947:

1. EMERALD ROAD from South to North and West to East.
2. MELBOURNE ROAD from East to West.
3. STAMFORD STREET from South to North.
4. ROSEMOUNT AVENUE from West to East.
5. HART STREET from East to West.
6. HIBBERT STREET from South to North.
7. ONLY MEMBERS of the Kingston Cricket Club and Jamaica Football Association will be permitted to drive their vehicles into Sabina Park, and will do so by way of the Emerald Road gate. They will park on the Club grounds as directed by the Police.
8. All other private motor vehicles will proceed direct to Unifruitco Park by way of Melbourne Road from South Camp Road and will park in Unifruitco Park as directed by the Police.
9. TAXIS will proceed up Emerald Road and deposit their passengers at the corner of Emerald Road and the Private Road leading to Sabina Park and then proceed out to South Camp Road.
10. TAXIS will not be allowed to enter Unifruitco Park.
11. After the close of play Taxis will be permitted to enter Sabina Park by way of Emerald Road from North Street as directed by the Police. They will leave Sabina Park by way of the South Camp Road gate.
12. At the close of play cars parked in Sabina Park will proceed out by the South Camp Road gate after all pedestrians have left the grounds. Cars parked in Unifruitco Park will leave by way of Stamford Street.
13. Pedestrians for the grounds only will enter from the South Camp Road entrance.
14. Pedestrians for all Stands may enter either by way of Emerald Road or Unifruitco Park.
15. CYCLISTS for standing room only will only be allowed to enter Sabina Park by the Melbourne Road entrance.
16. CYCLISTS for stands or bleachers will enter by the Unifruitco Park Gate.
17. PARKING PLACES will be provided at:
(a) Lissant Road. West side facing North.
(b) Blake Road. West side facing North.
18. NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED IN:
(a) North Street between James Street and South Camp Road.
(b) South Camp Road between North Street and Goodwin Park Road.
19. THE PUBLIC ARE REQUESTED TO CO-OPERATE WITH THE POLICE in carrying out these TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, and no one except Players or Officials will be allowed on the field of play.
