THE CARIBBEAN All-Stars soccer team receive stern opposition at Sabina Park this afternoon when they face the methodical Royal Welch Fusiliers in what should be a great exhibition in craftsmanship. The much heralded Surinam trio make their first appearance and all eyes will be on the 'gunshot' Kamperveen at centre forward.

Before the match starts members of the opposing teams will be introduced to Brigadier Cosby Jackson, Commander Caribbean Area.

All-Stars teams is: Roland Lacossade (Haiti) goal; Gerry Parsons (Trinidad) right back; Manny Desousa (left back) B.G.; Yvon Dorceans (Haiti) right half; Humphrey Mynals (centre half) Surinam; Delbert Charleau (Trinidad) right half; Maurice Moore (outside right) B.G.; Jacques Banguillot (inside right) Guadeloupe; Rudie Kamperveen (centre forward) Surinam; Michel Kruin (inside left) Surinam; Anre Vieux (outisde left) Haiti.

Royal Welch have not yet finalised their team. But at practice they have been showing exceptionally fine form and, so fit are they, the game should be bubbling with interest until the final whistle.

The tourists are resting their star pivot Allan Joseph, who had a slight back strain in Monday's game against the Schools. But he is certain to be all right for Saturday's Test match.

The soldiers have planned the wide-open game with the wingers concentrating passes just behind the penalty line to a trio of inside forwards always moving in knitted formation. This formation should prove a real test for the opposing half line who will have plenty on their hand checking Swaine, Jones and Cockler.
