MARSDEN CHEN CAPTAIN OF COLTS' TEAM
MANY SURPRISE SELECTIONS

MARSDEN CHEN, former St. George's College Manning Cup and Olivier Shield star, had been elected captain of the Jamaica Colts team to meet St. Mary's College of Trinidad on Saturday, December 14. Selection of the 11 players was made yesterday.

The team includes many surprise selections and three St. George's College Manning Cup footballers. They are goalkeeper Michael King, left half, Roy Lee, and outside right Derrick DaCosta.

Oloy Hoo, Melbourne's goalgetting centre forward, and Syndey Bartlett, Gaynstead High School and YMCA inside right, have been included on the team, while UCWI's Trinidadian forward Hezehiah has got the outside left birth.

The team is: Michael King (St. George's), goal; Bruce Excell (Kingston), right back; Arnold Scott (Kensington), left back; Jack Walker (Kingston), right half; Marsden Chen, (St. George's Old Boys), centre half, capt.; Roy Lee (St. George's), left half; Derrick DaCosta, (St. George's), outside right; Sydney Bartlett (Gaynstead and YMCA), inside right; Oloy Hoo, (Melbourne), centre forward, Denzil Lue, (St. George's Old Boys), inside left; A. Hezekiah (UCWI), outside left.

Reserves are Richard Thelwell (Jamaica College), goal; Clinton Headlam, (Wembley); Keith Reece, (Melbourne); Wolsey Aris (Kenstington).
