Entries for the Pan-American Games soccer tournament have climbed to eight, announced Ernie Draffin, spokesman for the soccer committee.

"And that's the finish," he said.

Entered are Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Bermuda, Cuba and Trinidad.

The eight will be divided into two groups and will play a double round-robin based on the points system.

Each country will be sure of six games.

The two top teams in each division will play off to represent their circuits with the winners meeting in a sudden-death final.

Draffin says they have already sold about 300 tickets for the semi-finals and final.

The afternoon games are at 2 p.m. will be played at Alexander Park and the night games at 8 p.m. at Winnipeg Stadium.
