In Trinidad the FA selectors have placed the accent on youth in their plans for the visit of the Englishmen. Of the 44 players invited to train for the series, very few veterans have been included.

Among them are Hugh Sealy, John Atwell, Conrad Brathwaite, Joey Gonsalves, Horace Lovelace, Bernard Garcia, Gerry Parsons, Paul Carr, Carlton Hinds, Dilbert Charleau and Ivan de Gourville.

With the exception of Sealy and de Gourville, all of these players were in the Trinidad team which toured in England in 1953.

Hammond Furlonge, who toured the island with the recent Trinidad cricket team, is among the invitees. Furlonge opened the Trinidad innings with Jeff Stollmeyer.

Eighteen players, including professionals and amateurs, will make the soccer tour of the West Indies in May and June. All the players are regular first team players with their clubs in England.

The Englishmen will play two matches in Bermuda, May 11 and 14, three in Jamaica, May 18, 21 and 23, and four in Trinidad, May 26 and 28, June 1 and 4.
