GEORGETOWN, October 11.—The British Guiana soccer team in the triangular Intercolonial Tournament this month in Trinidad consists of the following: I. R. B. Robinson, Goal; W. Alleyne, W. Angoy, Vice Captain; F. X. DaCosta, F. Small, Captain; H. Dare, R. Weeks, S. E. Moore, O. T. Donald, C. L. Mitteholzer, G. Fernandes, A. B. Campbell, C. Fernandes, J. A. Alexander & F. A. Denbow, T. B. Reed, Manager. The team sails on the 21st.

BARBADOS, Oct. 14, (By D.W.I. Cable Co.)—C. Maloney, selected half-back to make the trip to Trinidad for the intercolonial football tournament, failed to get leave and the selection committee last evening substituted A. R. Foster. Foster's selection comes as a surprise seeing that he had practically retired from football and was nominated manager of the team at an early date. But it is supposed that the committee, faced with the difficulty of finding a captain, took the easiest course and intended the nomination of Foster as leader of the team. His ability as leader is unquestioned but it is doubtful whether he can comeback as a player.
